About the event
New for this year, the BHSA is running a series of small evenings for parents. Fewer people, more conversation, and a reason to get out on a school night. This is the first one.
Six English cheeses and six English wines, matched glass for glass, with one wildcard thrown in to see who is paying attention. English wine has quietly got very good, and this is a night to find out how good.
Hosting is Cheese at Turpins, the cheesemonger in Greenwich Market. Artisanal British cheese, a handful of European classics and a few genuinely odd ones. They are owned and run by Blackheath High parents, so the evening supports an independent local business and our own parent community in one go.
